Vision
IDA Journal of Dharma Studies aims to promote creative thinking and critical reflections on the existential issues that elude solution despite the best efforts of humanity across the globe. Spirituality, philosophy, religion, economy and polity, if only grounded in a universalistic world view and Dharma-centric mode of thinking and way of life, will promote fraternity, love, compassion, peace and harmony among people and contribute to sustainable development. Hence, the journal:
• Encourages philosophical reflections and searching for practical solutions to contemporary global challenges and concerns of humanity.
• In this line, it calls forth revisiting the reasons for the glaring dichotomy between theory and praxis, which renders every human effort incomplete.
• Promotes interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies on Dharma tradition in religions, philosophy, cultural studies, aesthetics, and humanities.
